Human Resource Management in European Aviation 2011
Munich, May 26 - 27, 2011 (Eden Hotel Wolff)
"Safety Management Systems - Development, Implementation and Perspectives"
The HUMAV-conference is a meeting point for human resource managers and academic experts from the aviation sector since 2008, organised by the WIT-Wildau Institute of Technology, an affiliate of the Wildau Technical University of Applied Sciences, in cooperation with LTT - Lufthansa Technical Training and BDLI - German Aerospace Industries Association. The 2011 conference will be under the patronage of Dr. Peter Ramsauer, the German Federal Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Development.
While safety has always been a key issue in aviation, the focus has changed from technical to human and organizational factors:
- how to integrate safety in the company culture,
- how to find, train and keep the right people for safety-sensitive work,
- how to use quality management philosophy and tools for safety improvement.
The conference will bring together ideas and experience from the airline sector, airports, air traffic control, regulation authorities, aerospace manufacturing and maintenance in presentations and workshop sessions with ample room for discussion.
Our conference venture, the Eden Hotel Wolff, is one of the best-known Bavarian old-style hotels of superior standard situated downtown directly at the main train station (directly opposite the airport express bus). There will be a conference dinner on the evening of May 26 at a traditional Munich beer-garden.
We look forward to meeting you at the HUMAV 2011
